Andi village within Botlikhsky district. Population: 4239 (2002). Administrative center of Muninsky village group (including the Andi village Rushukha and the Avar village Ortakolo). Native language is the Lower Andi dialect (Bennur and Koxxidoł) of Andi language. Second language is Avar and third is Russian. Attempts to create a written language of Andi have been carried out since 1992 with a new attempt in making a new alternative alphabet in 2002. Otherwise Avar is used as literary language. Place name for Muni in Andi language is "Bennur".
