A ruined monastery with a round tower, which according to legend was built by St. Patrick. During the eleventh and twelfth centuries Ardpatrick monastery was at its peak, being second in importance in Ireland only to Armagh.
On 17th of March and 15th of August there is a pilgrimage to the hill. Mass is held on the hilltop on the last Sunday in August.
