  • A small village, one church, one shop with petrol station. The pub has ceased business, as did the post office several years ago. In the 1960's feohanagh had three public houses and 2 shops. Hurling is the main sport here, but gaelic football is also played to good standard. Past masters in hurling would have been Limerick county players such as the Tom and Joe Quaid (who were goalkeepers for Limerick in 1980-90's). John Flanagan played for Limerick in 1980s.
  • John's son Seamus Flanagan plays for Limerick Senior Hurlers right now, as does Nicky Quaid who is a son of the late Tom Quaid.
