Caterpillar Inc. (formerly Caterpillar Tractor Company) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines. This is its Administration Building, also known as A.B. or G.O. (general offices). Not to be confused with the original Caterpillar factory, which is the East Peoria facility across the river.
