There's a museum devoted to marine life of the Pacific Northwest here. It's actually really fun to go to and has an absolutely fantastic petting zoo. Sea cucumbers are delightful to touch.
Outside, there's a plaza that occasionally has a festival called Music on the Pier where, aptly, music from various local bands is played on the pier.
