Lauwersoog

Lauwersoog is an harbour and village in the province of Groningen. The boat to Schiermonninkoog Island departs several times a day at this harbour. There are no cars allowed on the Island nor on the boat. Lauwersoog is also an important fishing harbour and tourist location. The village has various places for coffee, fried fish, and has many nice walking and bikes routes. And a camping site in the nearby national park Lauwersmeer.
