Weather radar on Kojšovská hoľa.
Weather Station is in operation since year 1989. Our work consists especially out of regular radar measurements of cloudiness above territory of Slovakia and out of automatic synoptic observations.

Radar measurements
Operational service of radar started 1.5.2005.
Product released for public use 1.10.2005.
Nowadays measurement interval is every 5 min.
Instalation of the new dualpol radar RDR-250GC december 2004.
Experimental service of radar started 1.2.2005.
Heart of the system for acquisition of meteorological data is modern state-of-the-art radar RDR-250GC equipped with offset antena for high ground clutter supression and using Doppler phenomena for processing reflected signals. Measured data are processed during measurement yet, so final products are available in short time period. Opposite to other doppler radars, RDR-250GC is able to work in dual polarization mode, which gives chance for meterologists to make a new products for better description phenomena in atmosphere of Earth.Output products are ownership of SHMI Bratislava and aren't distributed free, but for public use was released product
