  • Guadalupe (Nuevo and Viejo), the true representative of Makati: dirty and chaotic. Makati Central Business District is a private land owned by Ayala Land Inc. so Mayor Binay can't claim he beautified the place because Ayala improved it. If Ayala didn't buy the place half a century ago, Makati Central Business District would be just like Guadalupe: full of sidewalk obstructions, smelly, with apathetic crowd, etc.
  • I'm sad to know that Guadalupe has changed. We used to live in the area closed to the church in the 70's and I thought the place was great. There was a hotel in the corner of EDSA and ____ street to get in Guadalupe. I even remember the big sign of Marlboro along Edsa. I'm not surprise of the changes but not this kind of change. I haven't been back since then maybe it's time to revisit the place.
  • guadalupe is so crowded now. ang daming mga bata. we lived near the church. kahit nandoon pa rin ang ibang kamag-anak at kaibigan, guadalupe ay hindi na kagaya ng dati.

  • I use to live near the corner of Orense and El Camino. I expected changes just like the rest of the world. Crowded of course and I was expecting that last time I visited the area 2008.But then just hanging around the very corner makes me a happy man seeing old people that I know, call it nostalgia.

  • Nagbago na po talaga. :) Yung Barangay Hall gumanda na, nag-improve yung basketball court, every December 12, meron pa ring piyesta malapit sa Gudalupe Church. At meron pa ring mga squatter malapit sa simbahan... Yes... Meron po... Taga Camino Dela Fe po ako for 8 years and nakita ko rin na nagbago. Pati ang MMDA - Kung dati pastel blue and pink - Ngayon Green na. English: It has really changed. The Barangay Hall looks better and the basketball court improved and every December 12, there is still the festivities near the Guadalupe Church. There's still squatters in front of the church. Indeed, there are squatters there. I'm stayed at Camino Dela Fe for 8 years and I have seen it change. Even MMDA has changed - the building color has changed from pastel blue/pink to green.
