Starting in the 16th century the Nevills, a family of baronets and countesses lived in the estate for 400 years. Passing to the Cunard shipping family thru 1914. After WW1 became a boys prep school until 1999. Now restored and owned by David Ross co-founder of Carphone Warehouse. Grange Park Opera organizes classical opera performances here every summer. www.grangeparkopera.co.uk
