At this site, in 1978, an SCL(Family Lines) freight train, detouring around
a derailment in the Florida panhandle, was photographed while moving at an
estimated 70 MPH, and was led by a Southern Pacific SDP45. The photo,
taken near midnight, shows a blurred image of the headlight and number boards,
as the train rushes toward Richland, GA enroute to Montgomery and New Orleans.
