  • Ngaoundal History: ''Ngaou''in Mboum means : mountain, '' Ndal" means:the throne. Ngaoundal means in Mboum the mountain of throne.People Mboum during the migration in 13e century came to establish their Kingdom around the mountain.Their leader ''Belaka DOMO" asked his people to fabricated a big scaffolding,so they could reach the sky.Unfortunately, the termite ate all the wood and they Falled down near the river mandal. It is in this place where people Fulani met them and converted them to the Islam. How? When Fulani people arrived ,people Mboum climbed up the mountain and use stone to send away the visitors. But those visitors were differents ,because they came on Horses and had their head a big roll of turban. People Mboum thought that ,they would carry the mountain and they made them dawn the hill and began to show them how their belief was too bag and they need to be follow the new religion. Then, Fulani people used their good skin to captivate the Mboum Girls, especilly the chief daughter. They married those girls and when Father died they used their son to became the new chief. This is how Tibati and Ngaoundere have now the Lamido that the father is Fulani and mother Mboum. After that People Mboum consider those practice like aberration and need to have their own leader;we have :BELAKA NGANHA, BELAKA ASSOM,BELAKA BELAFOUKOU.
  • Ngaoundal : many People want to usurp the Throne of Goulouck Ndal and Belaka Domo ''Ngaou means'' mountain in Mboum laguage and ‘‘Ndal’’ is the Throne of Goulouck Ndal (The Greatest authority of Mboum People) ,Ngaoundal is a big trade center in Adamaoua because of his geographical position . It is the reason that people from Meiganga , Kalaldi ,Dir ,Bagodo ,Malaou ,Mbakaou , Beka Gotto came between 1972 and 1978 to looking for the Job on’’ COGEFAR’’ Trans African Road project. Those people came to grow Sangsi Village and when COGEFAR left, government erected this place to CEPEFAN for Army training. Nowadays those who came for the Job need to usurp the Throne of Goulouck Ndal and Belaka Dome ancestor of Mboum in this Place. This problem occurs today, because our university and people who suppose to write Wright history of Cameroon didn’t pay attention on the reel problem of Cameroon and looking only for nomination. Today, something like Rwanda Genocide is prepared if the lord authority doesn’t put the Owner of the Throne on the Wright plane. Today we don’t know who is the chief in Ngaoundal : Djaouro Belafoukou, Lawan BEKA ,Lawan Doro, Djaouro Bello, Belaka Mbéré ,Djaouro Sangsi? I ask a simple question, if in Bafoussam , Meiganga Ebolowa or another Town in this country ,we have this quantity of leader ,what will be the resold. No traditional authority. It is the same thing happing at Meiganga between gbaya and Foulbe. When the ‘’Prefet ‘’ of Djerem enthrone Mr Baouro as Lawan Mbarnang(Doro) , he told him that ‘’ You are not a Chief of Ngaoundal Canton , you are chief of canton of Mbarnang resident in Ngaoundal’’ .H ow today his Nephew succeed to him to the Throne and erect a big monument saying “” Chefferie du Mont Ngaoundal’’ What means that ,Who among BELAKA Domo , BELAFOUKOU ,FISIK BAKA TARA gave to hi father this Throne “”NDAL”’ ? Ngaoundal is dfferent with Malaou , It is time for people to Thing about, Thanks

  • Ngaoundal: Background on the history of the people Mboum'''' In the whole Djerem department in general and in the borough of Ngaoundal in particular,”Mboum are the most formerly implanted. They are consequently the native population of that locality. In the 14th century, following the migration, the Mboum moved into first on the mounts, because they want to prevent bullying they were subjected by the people of North (Arabic and Nubian). They will create a superior leadership called " Goulouck Ndal" meaning : the god of mountains .This chief lived with his community named "Ndal Ngaou" on the summits of Mount that he named it " Ngaoundal" or Mountain of Throne . Other communities under its authority are "Ndal Ndou", "Mbang Doua", "Belaka Feke," "Kaya YALA", "Sangsi", "Ngaou Yoko", and “Faou Roum. All these people mentioned above will settle on the mountain all around Ngaoundal namely: - "NGAOUNDING", which means in Mboum: mountain of a drum that was used to make announcements. “ - "NGAOULOUKOU", meaning the biggest .It is precisely on this mountain where the majority of the population lived. There we have a mystical forest called "KASSA Farang" (Forest of eggplant). And also, it was the place where lived the “the gods" which made the power of Goulouck Ndal growing everyday. There was also a cave that honey could be harvested by the Royal Family. Policy Organization: The political organization was based on religion and only dignitary leadership practices. The Chief the incarnation on earth of Supreme human being called "GANWEN" (great god). He was not himself the great god, but it has a direct part of its functions to the divine nature. Therefore, he sits on a human being that he covers with the skin of panther or lion. To eat, he has to go into hiding. He should not get sick or die. When he is ill, they took him away where anybody can see him or they killed if the disease worsens. To his people he went to join the "Ganwen" and is immediately replaced. In 14e century until today, several leaders have succeeded and each corresponded to the emulation of the new chief’s community. - DISLOCATION OF LEADERSHIP OF "GOULOUCK Ndal" The first group to come down from the mountain is called - -Mboum Ndang which is in the Eastern Region, including: GOUYOME Nda Ndéng, VOUTSABA: Nowadays, they are called "VONA. - Mboum "MBI NGAI" which are located near to the Lac (Mbi Faou Ngai) between a small town Gbaya today "Demgoya" and the river Djerem were the second. -The Andoum will be directed to the mountain called Ngaoundoum which is on the other side of the river near Djerem and the watercourse named Mandoum, west of Betara Gongo today. -The Yen-Mboum near "Ngaou Bamyaga" near the river named Maayen. -The Mboum Assom in the borough of Tibati near the famous mystical Lake FAOU ASSOM. -The Mboum Sangloukou which borders the Babouté at Mahor.
  • Conctact with Lamido Hamassambo  In 1830 the Lamido Hamassambo installed in Tibati requested to Belaka DOMO, supreme Mboum leader at that time and his community to get to allegiance. Belaka Domo refused .Hamassambo repeated this several times without success. After the death of Belaka Domo the conflict of succession broke out between two of his children: GNA NDAL NGAOU and GNA Ndal NDOU. This conflict led to the victory of the elder GNA Ndal NGAOU which was established on the throne. Little Brother GNA NDAL NDOU upset will disengage the group to cross the river and settle Mbang Dowa just along the river Djerem. Few years later, the majority remained faithful to GNA NDAL NGAOU down the east side of Ngaoundal and settled at the actual Catholic mission .Then the new chief Belaka GNA NDAL NGAOU establish the contact with the Lamido Hamassambo of Tibati. Hamassambo Islamized GNA NDAL NGAOUAND HIS people. After his death, the Dynasty is divided into four villages around the mountains. -Belaka-Feke, became Belafoukou today stretches from the eastern mountains to the north to Passi and Ngaou Kaougn near Mbadi GBAYA that the recently appointed "KAYA YALA" and then make the border of Mboum Mbidjer (located in the district of Dir current) -Sangsi-south tending his reign until Maliforo which flows into grouper. -FOU-NGAOU YOKO south west of Mount which also borders with Baboutés of Djossi up Malaou. -Fou ROUM the only leadership that has a small plot of land north of the mountains and west of Ngaoudourou and beside the lake FAOU ROUM. The four new villages come to join the elders who are-Ndonga Mbigai now Mbandoua, Bamyanga which was a very great dynasty. Fou Andoum that no longer exists. History of the arrival of the new Community  In the XXe century Belafoukou Fizick grand son of Nguer Mbika, son of Belaka Mbargan receives the first GBAYA named Djaouro Mone. The second GBAYA was BEKA PESSA, who camped at Ngaou Kaougn. He asked Belafoukou FIZICK asylum and settle at a place called MBILO where he lived with his family. Following the agreement between Belafoukou FIZICK and Gna Foua-Yen Ndoihora of Bambayanga, Beka PESSA excellent hunter leaves the territory of Belafoukou to camp in the territory under Gnafoua yen authority .This is how Gotto Beka was born.  In 1954, Belafoukou FIZICK died and his son Ousmanou Wiya succeeded him. He received the third Gbaya; Djaouro Mangbaya. Ousmanou Wiya gave instructions to his cousin Djaouro WIYA (from Sangsi successor of Djaouro Yikaou ,successor of Mbarden ,successor DJO Sarwan (a queen); all from Belaka DOMO) to show the place to Mangbaya and the appointed representative of GBAYA .Mangbaya means in Mboum "rallying of GBAYA”.  In 1960, a fourth community Gbaya from the south “Malaou” came. . Thus LAWANI GALDIMA PORO which came from Malaou asked for authorization to settle to Ousmanou Wiya. It offered him the place “Mbarnang” said that was his field. -In 1974 Poro Galdima asked again Ousmanou Wiya of Belafoukou and Djaouro Wiya of Sangsi permission to settle in Sangsi was granted. -However, in the territory of Gna Foua YEN HAMO replacement of Ndoi Hora arrive the other communities such as GBA NDE NDE Massou. -At Mbandowa (Donga Mbigai) come a community led by GBAYA ANOU from Kounde, who moved first to Mbong under the authority of Djaouro Ndonga Mbingai. Then they will seek permission to settle south of Mbandoua and named their neighborhood Betara Gongo. Meanwhile the impressive surge in the city of Ngaoundal with the advent of COGEFAR brings Prince Djobdi Bello (Bello Djaouro) Chief of Peuhl community today. It was sent by his father to collect some taxes of capitation. -In 1978, the last coming community (Mbere) led by Djaouro Oumarou Mbere come from Rey Bouba Sultanate through Mbere department. Thus: Ousmanou Wiya Belafoukou conducted them to the majesty Lamido of Tibati Barkindo who enthrones him as head of the 3rd degree Mbere Sangsi neighborhood (its cousins Mboum).
