Reason for creating this district due to migration of Muslims in Greece and the Greek islands which won independence from the Ottoman Empire in late nineteenth century and beginning of the persecution of Greek Muslims, a large number of Greek Muslims imigrate to Syria and Damascus , Nazim Pasha donate Qasioun to them and assess the water and dragged them the spring of Ein AlFija .
