  • i missed the old church & former parochial school(SHJPS)..Lots & Lots of Good Memories..the huge century old acacia trees(RIP)SAYANG destroyed by storms.
  • The Church is newly constructed. It was completely demolished after that earthquake sometime in 2000. The altar was a Chinese Baroque brought by the Agustinians. Today the altar was altered and additions were made still using some of the original materials. The 4 evangelists paintings were not installed back ang the original communion rail was not re-installed. The original chandiliers were installed back but doesn't fit or is not enough to illuminate the larger church area. Sacred Heart of Jesus Parochial School is now Saint Peter's Academy. They stopped working on the new bell tower and resorted to the original design. The giant acacia tree in front of the church collapsed one da causing too much traffic. I just wonder how a tree that healthy and a trunk a with probably 6 men standing with their arms stretch to go around the circumference will just fall down like that.
  • this church is probably beatiful after many years that this where callapsed by an earthqauke.from now on, this church was under constructed and beside this church is the saint peter of verona academy. from this i know now how beautiful is the bataan is and in this academy, i experience first times and i want to thank God that he build this church, not only for me but also for others.
