The village is located some 12 odd kilometers south of Narnaul City in Haryana state. It has caste based society, mainly dominated by Yadavs, also known as Ahirs. Other castes include, Jangids, Jogis, Dhanaks, Brahmins and fews houses belong to Swami-s. It has a telephone exchange establilshed by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd and has a Sub-Post office under Nangal Chaudhary Block of Mahendergarh district. The main source of life here is Agriculture. Recently stone crashers are here to add some other resource of income. Connectivity by road with Narnaul city has however remained grim for last many years owing to poor representation of local Members of Legislative Assembly.
