Turtle Camp is a former fishing lodge on the edge of Turtle Bay on Sunnyside Lake, part of the Lake Kipawa chain. The camps, built around 1945 became private in 1995.

  • The 10 camps and lodge were built by Garfield Jones who also owned the Kipawa Hotel at the time. He died in March 1963 and his wife ran the hotel and camps for the season but sold the camps and hotel sometime in late 1963 or 1964.
  • If this is the place I remember in about 1966 it was owned by a couple with the last name Vallencourt. Maybe I am remembering a different place.
