Comments

  • The valley is an Orographic cold trap. Heat radiates into the long winter night skies and cold air flows down hill to pool in the valley bottom around the village. On a science TV program the host visited here and walked up a local hill side. the temperature he measured on camera rose several degrees during his short hike.
