The Bag O'Nails club at 8 Kingly Street in Soho, London, was a meeting point for musicians in the 1960s. Many popular musicians and bands played here, including Georgie Fame and Jimi Hendrix. After Beatles recording sessions in London, Lennon, Harrison, and Starr would be chauffeured back to their houses in the 'stockbroker belt' of southern England. Meanwhile, Mal Evans, Neil Aspinall, and Paul McCartney would drive to a late-night club to eat steak, chips, and mushy peas. The Bag O'Nails night-club was one of their favourites, as it also presented live music. Paul McCartney met Linda Eastman
here on 15 May 1967.
