Ezinge is a mound-village with a protected status for the historical centrum, with a church with separate tower, 13th century. In the years 1920 till around 1930 Albert van Giffen found the rests of 85 farms and connected buildings from 600 BC till the 5th century AC. Museum Wierdenland, Centrum for Wierden and Landscapes. Wierde means mount.
