15th Ave E Commercial Strip (Seattle, Washington)

Though much smaller and less urban than Capitol Hill's other major Commercial strip 'Broadway' 15th Ave E has essentially everything the surrounding Seattleites need: two grocery stores, a drug store, two video stores, a music store, and several other independent retailers, restaurants and bars. Overall it has a much more neighborhoodly feel than Broadway and the businesses on the 15th strip are mostly used by Capitol Hill locals that live with-in walking distance. The strip itself is located roughly on the western crest of the hill and is a short uphill hike from Broadway.

Like Broadway though, the strip is not free of panhandlers but numbers are far fewer.

There are a few small restaurants to the south of the the highlighted strip but they mostly exist to serve the lunchtime work crowd from the large Group Health complex.
