  • For a long time I did not know that this chamundidevi was our "Kula Deivam". I have one daughter and every time I go to anybody, they would tell me that I had forgotton my kula deivam puja. I told them I was not able to know. For that they told me that if I do the kanya puja I could know the family deity. Immediately I arranged for the kanya puja and to my shocking I visualised in my dream the path starting from the bus stand till I reached the temple, the appearance of the deity,each and every corner of the temple I visualised in my dream but I did not know which temple and which god it was. The next day when I narrated the dream to my mother, my "Periamma" who belonged to this Poovanur village told me that the naration I was giving was of poovanur and when I went and told the people who asked me to do this kanya pooja, they said I was right and that is the kula Deivam of our family. I along with my mother in law and others we went and everybody were shocked to see the temple in the manner that I exactly visualised in my dream and narrated them which all accepted. This is a real happening in my life and this incident happened during 2001.
