Petushki

Petushki is a small town northeast of Moscow in the direction of Vladimir. It became famous thanks to the poem Moscow-Petushki by the poet Venedikt Yerofeev. This poem is the monologue of a drunkard who is traveling by train to Petushki and taking gifts along with him. This work consists of fragments of his monologue and momentary snapshots of Petushki.
