  • Home of many italian restaurants and bakeries. Parking is extremely difficult.
  • Also on the historic Freedon trail (http://www.thefreedomtrail.org/) and home of the Old North Church and the Paul Revere house. Much of the Italian influence has dissipated as this in-town neighborhood has becomre before more attractive to young professionals. Still, the summer festivals are not to be missed. Also home to the most ardent football (ie: soccer) fans in North America. Best cappuccino: Cafe Graffiti Best traditional Italian food: Il Pannino Best pastries: The Modern Bakery (Mikes ? Pleeeze!)
  • The old North End will be gone soon now that the highway is gone. all the old school italians will leave and the place will be gentrified and touridt friendly soon. If you still want to see it how it is/was, go soon. PS. Bova's has better pastries. And its open 24hrs.
  • Neighborhood has changed immensely in the past 30 years. The Italian-American neighborhood theme is now merely a facade as most of the inhabitants are yuppies.
