This is Pig's Meadow, the final resting place of the bodies of the Romanov Russian Imperial family and their servants (Emperor Nicholai II; his wife, Empress Alexandra Fedorovna; his children, the Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Marie, Anastasia, and Tsesarevich Alexei; their doctor, Eugene Botkin; Alexandra’s maid, Anna Demidova; Nicholas’ Valet, Alexei Trupp; and Ivan Kharitinov, their cook) until archaeological expeditions in 1978–2007 discovered and removed their remains.
