The East Broad Top was a narrow gauge (3 foot) line that served mines in Pennsylvania. It transloaded shipments to the standard gauge Pennsylvania RR mainline (now Norfolk Southern) at Mount Union.

A short segment of the EBT near Orbisonia is still operated with tourist trains from spring thru fall each year.


As with many of these types of operations the EBT is kept going through a team of dedicated volunteers.
