  Ikang Paus had donated the land to use as a cemetery for the Ibaloi community of Tuba Central. He was the same person who owned the City Dairy Farm of Baguio located at Shuyo, Wetig, Tuba Central, Benguet. In exchange to that donation made, Gov. Ben Palispis had given them a portion of public land to build houses for his family up to his time.
