Brgy. Anos, Los Baños, Laguna
During the Spanish era, Los Baños was not only famous for it's hot springs. It was covered with lots of bamboo groves. Without bamboo, the village would not have been formed. The name Anos comes from a variety of bamboo that lined this particular area beside the lakeshore. Together with Bayog, these are the densest bamboo parts of this locality.
The actual location of the bamboo groves the barrio was named after has been separated as Brgy. Malinta.
