The "Gotisches Haus", started by the architect Erdmannsdorff in 1773, was one of the first Neo-Gothic structures in Germany. The north facade of the building resembles a Venetian church; the south facade is of English Tudor Gothic inspiration. The house contains a collection of Swiss artistic glass works from the 15th - 17th century.
