New park (Märsta)

This area have been turned into a park.
As a part of the project to bring back Märsta å a (small stream)this was turned into a park with water and animals.
The stream had to be buried many years ago because drainage water from the local airport polluted it all and made the city stink.
When the stream was diverted underground they made all preparations needed to easily restore it when the pollution problem was solved.
Today its back above ground and are a pleasant part of the scenery and a good reminder of that it pays to plan ahead. Invest an extra dollar today and save millions tomorrow.
