Ullyul County (Ullyul-gun; the North Korean romanization standard would render it "Unryul"), South Hwanghae Province, North Korea.
This county is the site of the Ullyul Mine, one of the largest in North Korea. Its main scenic attraction is Mt Kuwol, the eastern face of which forms the county's south-eastern border.

  • The spelling for "Unryul" County is exclusive to North Korea. Generally, the South Koreans have dropped the "R" from place and family names. The South Korean standard Romanization system, adopted in 2000, renders this county as "Ullyul" or "Ullyul-gun".
