Taguatinga is an administrative region of the Federal District, Brazil. Founded in 1958, has developed considerably. Taguatinga, emphasis is on trade. The Commercial Avenue, which bisects the city from north to south, is the largest horizontal center-west. Taguatinga is now considered the economic capital of the Federal District, with 221,909 inhabitants (PDAD 2010/2011).
