  • the name of Lubhu is derived from LNU + BHU. which means LNU = the gold, and BHU = the dish. so it is the dish of gold in Newari language. of course lubhu is as the name of Newari language. in past deacde it was empire of newari culture and the empire was headed by GANGA MAHARANI. As mythology tell us that one time , the big disaster occured in Lubhu and the people were dying without getting food. The Maharani was very devoted with her peoples . to get food for her people she sold his gold dish and from that money she distributed food from other state. so elder form LUBHU used to say that this is state , which remained after selling gold dish from Ganga Maharani. in later , LNU BHU ( gold dish) became lubhu. in eastern part of lubhu is Lamatar, in west tikathali, north Sirutar and in west it is siddhi pur. it is just like FORT and now a days you can see 4 mailn gate to enter in lubhu. it is my birtg palce and i love it very much
