  • I was stationed on Yaedake Mountain at a radar site operated by the US Army during 1969-70.It is not the highest point on okinawa. We had a blind spot on our radar caused by a nearby peak which was slightly higher.I cannot remember the name of the mountain but if you watch videos made by James knott it is mentioned.
