  • Home of STCOC - Strike Command Operations Centre, RAF High Wycombe. Three Floor Bunker home of RAF Strike Command as well as ballistic missile early warning and other UK defence systems. Formerly known as the Primary War Headquarters (PWHQ). Built on National Trust land between 1983 and 1985 to great public outcry
  • The bunker is actually 4 floors deep. There are four floors on top of each other, each about the size of a football pitch. There is also a smaller bunker just on the SE corner of this one where Bomber Harris ran Bomber Command from in WW2, quite a bit of history surrounding this place.
