The golf course, under new management for around 2 years, is rapidly improving its fairways and greens, though water is short in the winter months. Good drainage promotes play during the wet months, even when other courses in the area are closed due to bogging. The pomona dump does lend an unpleasant aroma down the bottom end of the course, but does little to ruin the experience of such a lovely country club course. 18 Holes for a visitor will cost around US$5 (which includes caddy fees)

  • Update April 2015 - Wingate has transformed into one of the premier courses in Zimbabwe with lush green fairways and well manicured greens and surrounds since the drilling of further boreholes and laying of an extensive sprinkler system. Visitors are welcome anytime and membership fees are extremely reasonable.
