The Chocolate Factory. Samoilovsky sweetness (Red October)

The factory’s history starts in 1862 when Georgiy N. Borman founded chocolate firm on Nevskiy prospect. Factory’s buildings were constructed 10 years later on Angliskiy prospect especially for the chocolate factory. George Borman’s factory was named ZAO "Factory named after K. Samoilova" in 1917. The factory continues its production of confectionary goods within the same building 130 years later. ZAO "Factory named after K. Samoilova" (“Red October”) got the best national Russian secrets for a production of sweets along with its old building. Today, the factory is a part of the leading Russian Holding the United Confectionary Manufacturers management company.
