The Rio Branco Institute (Portuguese: Instituto Rio Branco), created in 1945, is responsible for training of diplomats for the Brazilian government. Its name is a tribute to the Baron of Rio Branco, formulator of Brazilian foreign policy at the beginning of the twentieth century and responsible for negotiations border of Brazil with its neighbours.
