De Zijl (Dokkum)

De Zijl(sluice) is a broad bridge south of the centrum of Dokkum over the river Ee. If there is an Eleventown skatingrace, Elfstedentocht, the participants have to take a stamp here.
In the front of the bridge, northwards, is the old townhouse. Nice facades along the river.
