Bir Moleiha

Sudan / as-Samaliyah / Kurimah /

Though the name Moleiha hints to salt, the water is only very slightly salty. This may be due the volcanic area around. Nevertheless the water can be used both for the lifestock of the bedouins of the area like goats and camels and the people themselves. It is frequently used as the many tracks prove. Several deep well are to be found and it is hard for the bedouins to lift the water to the surface by hand.
