in the time of dogra raj in ishkoman kot there were only 7 families.Thay come from the different parts of gilgit baltistan(blawaristan).they start there lives with hard working.these peoples are very strong physicaly and mentaly.now ishkoman kot(proper ishkoman)consist of 1500 families which are orignated from these seven different type of families.there are approx 4 govt school and more then 5 Aga Khan School in the velly.A private School Named AL-HUSSAIN ACCADMY FAIZABAD are also located in this area which is run by an NGO named AL-HUSSAN WELFARE SOCITY which is chaired by shakoor khan joher(s.k.joher)a very respactable and papular personelity in the locality.
