A former entrance to Sunken Meadow State Park, which today leads only to Sunken Meadow's Parking Area #5. Originally one of two ends of the Sunken Meadow Park Spur at NY 25A until the western entrance was turned into a cloverleaf interchange, and the rest of the road was converted into a real parkway in 1957. An berm was set up to block the road sometime in the 1970's.
