  As young children, in the early forties my mother used visit her friends, Baron Mitchell and his sister. He raised shetland ponies and had emus in the front paddock which were more vicious than any watch dogs! My memory was of the beautiful baroque style furniture and to a small child it was so ornate with gleaming brass. Is The Towers open for dining? How Often? Thank you.
