The largest halls of residence under one roof, Blackadder Hall contains both single and double occupancy rooms and shared self-catered kitchens as well as many recently refurbished communal spaces such as the residents' common room, computer room and licensed café.

Located on the North Haugh, Blackadder Hall is perfectly placed next to all of the science faculty buildings, but in a short 3 minute walk you can be at the Old Course golf course or the world famous West Sands beach. It is a mere 10 minute walk to the centre of town. It is also right next to the University sports centre — ideal for dedicated sporty students!

Blackadder Hall is a large community but regular events organised by the committee and wardennial team such as whisky tastings and a Christmas bus trip to Edinburgh help to create a strong community feel.
