  • Diageo have recently announced plans to utilise the rail link from Thornton to move their goods, thus saving on the near-continuous use of HGV transport on fairly poor road links to the motorway network. Hopefully this may lead to the re-opening of the line to passenger transport.
  • Kennoway is what the modern society call "shit up a hill". Which is latin for Ken-no-way surprisingly. It is full of people not fit for modern socialisation. They often wonder around bumping shoulders with each other in the hope of catching a stare, which is enough to start a fight.
