Ladybarn Park is one of Manchester's more modern parks, noted for its excellent flat green playing fields. Well laid out lawns and shrubberies occupy one side of the park while the other has bowling greens and play facilities. There is also a garden with well-maintained lawns and flower beds. One of the park's most distinctive features is its tall row of Lombardi Poplars. Park facilities include a children’s play area for juniors and under-fives, a multi-sports court, a tennis court, two bowling greens with veteran’s pavilion, and a youth centre.
