railway bridge, road bridge, historic ruins
Former railway bridge which carried the long abandoned Bog Walk to Port Antonio railway over the Rio Grande. Some time after the railway ceased operating the adjacent road bridge was declared unsafe and this bridge repurposed as a road bridge to replace it. Both have since been superseded by a modern (early 21st century) road bridge a little to the north.
