Student Village (Turku)

Student Village (Finnish: Ylioppilaskylä, Swedish: Studentbyn) aimed mainly for students of the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku School of Economics and Turku University of Applied Sciences.

The architectonic style of the village is constructivism. The area was originally constructed between 1969 and 1979, though some buildings were finally finished in the 1980's. There are about 3500 residents living in the student village.
