Valga railway station is located in the city of the same name in Estonia. Passenger trains of the Tartu–Valga line of AS Elron and the Valga–Riga line of the Latvian railway company Pasažieru vilciensi stop at the station. Valga station is located 82.9 km from Tartu, 94.6 km from Koidula and 168.1 km from Riga. A regular train ride from Tartu to Valga takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.
