Yongdusan Park

Yongdusan Park occupies 69,000 square meters/17 acres and supports 70 some different species of trees. It is Busan’s most popular park. The park is called Yongdusan because the shape of the mountain resembles a dragon’s head emerging from the sea.

The highlight of Yongdusan Park is a night view of Busan from the 120 meter/394 feet high Busan Tower.

A statue of General Lee Sunsin who was a great commander durring Joseon Dynasty period (1392-1910), the bust of writer Ahn Huijae (안희제) and a monument marking the April 19th anti-government student protests also grace the grounds of the park.

There are coffee shops and the Busan Aquarium in the park.
