The Tim Neville Arboretum was constructed in 1988 as Knox's major project for the Bicentenary and in 1989 won the Keep Australia Beautiful Council's award for Best Bicentennial Project in the Metropolitan area, and a City Pride award in 1995 for the most effective Tourist Attraction.
