Nasra Island is located north of the Sixth Cataract and is about 40 kilometers away from it. It was inhabited until recently, and due to the floods, the population moved to the west bank of the Nile. It is also famous for growing cash crops and contributes, along with others, to supplying the capital, Khartoum, with agricultural products.
